Organisational Behaviour and
Analysis: An Integrated Approach is a major new introductory text for students of all
levels who are taking their first course in the study of the behaviour of people in
organisations. It has been purposely designed for accessibility and to make teaching and
learning the subject both relevant and stimulating. . ;
The aim of this book is to
integrate all of the different ways of looking at people in organisations into a coherent
and comprehensive body of knowledge, providing the reader with a more real-world view of
the subject than many other textbooks. Most importantly it will enable students to apply
their knowledge to both present and future work situations.
The book provides a complete
teaching and learning package, full of features that will make it easy for both the
student and lecturer to use as an integral part of any organisational behaviour course.
Chapter objectives, section
summaries, margin notes and key concept lists allow the reader to quickly navigate through
the book.
Chapter opening scenarios and
numerous case studies demonstrate the usefulness of each topic in real-world situations
and give the reader an opportunity to test their understanding.
Time Out' boxes provide a
range of questions and activities for assignments and self study.
Further readings for each
chapter and a comprehensive reference listing.
A glossary of terms provides
a quick reference to the language of organisational behaviour.
A Lecturer's Handbook, free
